Sterling West is seeking a dynamic and creative Elementary Teacher for our Seattle, WA Campus in Seattle, WA. This candidate will teach 3rd through 6th grade classes, using the Self Directed Learning model to ensure our incredible students develop their full potential with “Learning To Learn”, while upholding Christian values and beliefs. Special Education qualifications would be considered an asset.Sterling West – Seattle, WA has an enrollment of approximately 22 students from grades 3-12.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor of Education specializing in Elementary Education
• A valid teaching license for Washington
• Willingness to take a criminal background check and drug screening
• Willingness to be part of a collaborative educational team;
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written;
• Professional learning community (PLC) knowledge and background preferred;
• Evidence of sensitivity and respect for others and a willingness to work within cultural boundaries
• Travel and valid passport required
